St. Patrick’s Day is a fun time around here. We don’t celebrate it too crazy, because none of us are Irish (heh heh) but you know I love an excuse to do fun things! Every year The Leprechaun comes for a visit and fills the boys shoes with candy, gold and St. Patrick’s Day gear (sunglasses, necklaces and such).
It takes a little creativity and a few bucks at the dollar store to come up with simple, fun ideas for them.
I created these fun little printables to use, and thought that they could do double duty. They’d be great little gift from The Leprechaun but they’d also be fun to send to school (or preschool or daycare) if your little one’s class hosts a celebration. The rainbow seeds printable is pictured with skittles, but you could really use anything rainbow colored (even confetti for non food parties!) The leprechaun gold is perfect for gold chocolate coins or Rolos, but you could also use fake coins! The possibilities are endless!
These will fit a regular zip top or ziploc bag (about 6.5″) I roll the top and tape them down, then either staple or use glue dots (or even hot glue) to keep it affixed to the bag.
Note: Depending on your printer’s settings, you may have to choose “borderless” when printing to get the full 6.5″ width.
If you end up using them, I’d love for you to snap a photo and tag me @ginaekirk on Instagram. I love seeing what you all do with my creations, it definitely makes me smile to know my efforts are worth it!
Do you have any fun St. Patrick’s Day traditions? I’d love to hear about them!
